When you think of a destination that combines adventure, serenity, family bonding, and jaw-dropping natural beauty, Jackson Hole, Wyoming checks every box. This summer, I had the distinct joy of designing and curating a multigenerational itinerary for my family—filled with immersive experiences and unforgettable memories.

Here’s a peek into our journey, from wildlife safaris and rodeo nights to riverside floats and rooftop celebrations.

Our trip began with staggered arrivals from Denver, St. Louis, and Newark. Thanks to seamless, pre-arranged luxury SUV transfers, everyone arrived comfortably at The Cloudveil, Autograph Collection, our base for the next five nights. Nestled in the heart of Jackson’s Town Square, this refined yet rustic hotel served as a perfect portal to adventure. Daily breakfast credits and beautifully appointed rooms set the tone for a luxurious mountain retreat.

We kicked off the next morning at sunrise with a Private Grand Teton Wildlife Safari, enjoying a continental breakfast while scanning the early-morning landscape for bison, elk, moose, and even a glimpse of a grizzly. Guided by a knowledgeable naturalist, the experience took us through iconic areas like Mormon Row and Signal Mountain—true wild Wyoming.

Later, we rode the aerial tram to the top of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for waffles with a view to celebrate a family birthday—an unforgettable mountaintop moment. That evening, we dined in cowboy-chic style at the legendary Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse, just a block from The Cloudveil.

One of the most meaningful experiences of the trip took place at a working ranch, where we watched a real cowboy use natural horsemanship techniques to train young horses during The Horse Whisper Experience. It was equal parts inspiring and intimate.

That night, we embraced western tradition at the Jackson Hole Rodeo, cheering on brave riders under the stars. The kids even got to participate—barefoot, much to my chagrin—but their excitement was infectious.

The next morning brought a peaceful change of pace as we floated down the Snake River on a private raft trip, perfect for both young children and grandparents. Eagles soared overhead and osprey circled all with the Tetons rising in the distance.

That afternoon, part of the group reconnected with an old friend, while others enjoyed a leisurely evening and dinner at Local, a beloved Jackson eatery known for Wyoming-sourced ingredients and elevated western cuisine.

The Fourth of July brought more family fun—some began the day with a fly-fishing adventure, a thrill made even sweeter when my nephew caught his very first trout!
